Bestrane offers online software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions to the market in a pay-as-you-go subscription model. This approach allows customers to pay on a monthly usage basis, which sees the payment for services align with the benefits derived from use of the online solution.
This differs significantly from traditional 'installed behind your firewall' software, where there is normally an up front software license, followed by a large hardware and implementation cost. Then ongoing internal infrastructure (fail-over, redundancy, patches and upgrades) and software vendor support and maintenance ensure annual costs keep eating away at your bottom line profit.
Bestrane's SaaS solutions are already installed and available in 'the cloud', NOW. This results in smaller up front costs, with little or no hardware investment, and shorter implementation timeframes. The result being a solution up and running faster, and at lower cost. All hardware, software, fail-over, redundancy, patches and upgrades are bundled in to a monthly subscription fee.
Dock Appointments
Dock Appointment Scheduler provides the ability for customers to have suppliers, carriers, contractors and other party's, who intend to visit your facility, request time slots and have them automatically scheduled and approved over the web. This requires no manual interaction with your personnel, significantly speeding up the booking process, and reducing costs for both you and your trading partners (win-win for all).
Route Planning
On Demand Route Planner, On Demand Dispatch, and On Demand AVL (Automated Vehicle Locator) are all available as a SaaS subscription service. These services allow you to plan efficient routes, minimising assets/drivers required, together with reduced time and distance. Following on, On Demand Dispatch and AVL provide the mechanism to manage the dispatch of routes and management of routes on the day of delivery.
